Kathleen P. Terrey PT, CHT, Hand Therapist

Kathy graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1984 and received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 1992. She also has a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (2001). Kathy has done guest lecturing for AT Stills University, the American Society for Hand Therapists and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She has also developed and presented continuing education material for Hand Therapists with emphasis on the wrist and elbow. In her spare time, Kathy loves to play golf, ski and cook.

Kelly Chavez-Allen DPT, CHT, Hand Therapist

Kelly Chavez-Allen graduated from University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences and received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University. Kelly has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since 2001 and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2007. Areas of professional interest include fracture rehabilitation and splinting. When not at work she enjoys running and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Cynthia Hudson, DPT

Hello! My name is Cynthia Hudson; I am a physical therapist for IHPT at the Tempe location. I am a graduate of Arizona State University where I earned a B.S. in Exercise Science in 1990. From there I continued my education at Northern Arizona University and earned a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2000.

I consider myself a generalist, but one that incorporates special techniques such as Strain-CounterStrain and Muscle Energy to help patients achieve a greater chance of recovery.

I concentrate on designing individualized exercise programs that are specific for each patient's needs, versus just issuing pre-programmed routines. I strive to give the best therapy to each patient, by researching the most complex cases.

Steven Springborn, PT, Owner

As one of the owners of IHPT, Steve, who has been a physical therapist since 1994, provides direction and leadership to the IHPT staff. Steve received his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and immediately left the cold North for sunny Arizona.
